From AOL to Innovation | The Digital Art Journey of TwoLine Studios

Do you remember the excitement surrounding the iPad launch in 2010? For visual thinkers, it began an exciting journey into the world of digital graphic recording. Our founder’s first digital client, AOL, was one of the early pioneers of the internet, and they were eager to embrace our innovative services.

However, those early days presented their own set of challenges. The digital tools available were somewhat sluggish, and meticulous preparation was required, which caused more trouble than we anticipated. To keep pace, our team of graphic recorders had to pre-draw images and painstakingly copy-paste them, making real-time capture of key ideas nearly impossible.

But what truly shone was the power of innovation through learning to use a new medium. AOL loved that our creations were instantly digitized and ready to be shared on multiple screens throughout the conference space.

  3. Tangible Record of Ephemeral Conversations: Digital graphic recording visually captures live discussions, transforming fleeting moments into lasting, referable content that encapsulates key ideas and discussions.

  4. Seamless Integration and Customization: Digital recordings easily integrate with event technology and are scalable for events of any size. They offer customization options in style and branding, ensuring alignment with the event’s theme.

  5. Discreet and Environmentally Friendly: Digital graphic recording is less intrusive and requires less space with minimal disruption. Moreover, it aligns perfectly with eco-friendly practices, reducing the need for physical materials and after-waste.

  6. Efficient Archiving and Retrieval: The digital format simplifies content storage, archiving, and retrieval, making it easy to access and utilize for future reference or subsequent events.
